Here is a brief summary of some of our survey’s findings:
- 89% or our respondents reported that their websites were updated with fresh material weekly.
- 78% of respondents’ staff and colleagues were encouraged and empowered to explore online media and recommend ideas for digital marketing.
- The three most popular social media sites for adding entries and submitting content were Facebook (93%), YouTube (73%) and LinkedIn (67%).
- The three most popular forms of media used in marketing are ‘Blog outreach and engagement’ (83%), ‘Article marketing online’ (58%) and ‘Video online’ (33%).
- In answer to the question: “If your immediate colleagues are permitted to use social media, are you aware of them using any common social media sites for business purposes?”, Twitter and Facebook were in equal first place, quoted by 93% of respondents.
